What Is a Handheld Terminal?
A handheld terminal is a battery powered mobile computer built for data capture and verification on the move. It scans barcodes and QR codes, reads cards, confirms identity and records attendance. It then sends that data over 4G or WiFi to your central system as it happens. The device goes to the construction zone, the warehouse aisle or the delivery route, instead of workers walking to a fixed station.
