What Is an Aluminum Alloy Turnstile?
An aluminum alloy turnstile is a pedestrian speed gate with a cabinet built from extruded aluminum instead of steel. It is lighter to ship and install, easy to shape into slim, rounded profiles, and naturally resistant to corrosion indoors. That makes it the preferred choice for corporate lobbies, office towers, hotels and institutional entrances, where the gate is part of the interior design.
How to choose within the range: Compact JBH: fits tight retrofits with 550 to 900mm lanes. JC2 Water Drop: opens up to 1,200mm for luggage and wheelchairs. JY Single Arm: covers passages up to 1,700mm. JF4 and JFX: premium lobby gates. The JFX opens in under 0.3 seconds at under 40 dB. JFW Waterproof: the one IP65 rated series, for covered outdoor entrances. Fully exposed sites: choose our stainless steel turnstiles instead.

Fire Alarm Release Built In
The control board links directly to the building fire alarm. If power fails or an alarm triggers, the flaps open automatically and lock open for a clear evacuation route.

Yes. EASCO aluminum alloy turnstiles use rigid extruded cabinets and 15 million cycle brushless motors, built for continuous commercial traffic. Aluminum is chosen for its weight and design flexibility, not as a compromise on durability indoors.
Only the JFW Waterproof series is IP65 rated for covered outdoor entrances. For fully exposed, coastal or industrial sites, EASCO recommends its SUS304 stainless steel turnstiles, which resist salt, rain and chemical exposure.
A speed gate uses two retracting flaps and moves about 50 people per minute. The JY single arm gate swings one long arm across passages up to 1,700mm. It suits wheelchairs, strollers and deliveries, with a throughput of about 30 people per minute.
The JFX is EASCO's quietest aluminum speed gate, running below 40 dB, with flaps that open in under 0.3 seconds. The JF4 follows closely at under 50 dB. Both suit reception areas where gate noise would be noticed.
The gate connects directly to the fire alarm system. On an alarm signal or power loss, the flaps open automatically and stay open, giving a free exit route. Normal operation resumes once the system is reset.
