What Is a Stainless Steel Turnstile?
A stainless steel turnstile is a pedestrian access gate with a cabinet made from SUS304 stainless steel. SUS304 is chosen because it resists rust, salt spray, moisture and industrial contamination far better than painted steel or aluminum. It costs more than aluminum, which is why it is specified for outdoor, coastal, food processing and heavy industrial sites rather than carpeted lobbies.
