A floor-mounted operator faces conditions no wall-mounted unit does — water ingress, ground pressure, and corrosion from below. Rain, dust, and soil contact won't reach the motor — the housing is waterproof, burst proof, and anti-corrosion rated. Anti-CO protection prevents carbon monoxide build-up in enclosed or basement installations. Integrated die casting seals the body completely, preventing oil leakage. Closing speed adjusts independently via the speed control screw — set once during installation, holds through every cycle after that.

The Gate Opens. Nothing Else Shows.

Nothing shows once the job is done. The entire mechanism — motor, drive, and stainless steel shaft head — sits inside a recessed housing below the pivot point of the gate. No visible arm, rail, or motor from any angle after commissioning. A single unit opens one leaf to 90°. Fit two and they drive a double gate to 180° total — the cleanest installation finish in the Open Bear swing range.

HOW IT WORKS

Control flow of the concealed floor swing operator.

Step 1 — Signal Input

The integrated Bluetooth/4G controller or external access reader receives a valid entry request and triggers the control board.

Step 2 — Motor Activation

The 24V DC brushless motor accelerates smoothly, generating up to 56 Nm of torque to start swing rotation.

Step 3 — Concealed Pivot

The heavy-duty stainless steel shaft head rotates the gate leaf from below, opening it up to 90 degrees in under 2 seconds.

Step 4 — Dwell & Close

The gate holds open for the configured dwell time (1–20 seconds) before closing safely, using obstacle rebound protection.

Can it be installed on existing doors?

Yes, it is suitable for retrofit projects. The housing is recessed in the floor directly under the pivot point of the door leaf.

Is the below-floor box waterproof?

Yes, the die-cast aluminum housing is fully sealed and waterproof to prevent ingress of ground water or rain.
