Every Starship 4 gate follows the same control flow — from identity check to passage — in under a second.
Step 1 — Identity Verification
The face panel detects users at 0.5–3 m, completing recognition in 200–300 ms at 99.98% accuracy. The onboard processor runs the comparison locally. Card and QR code readers process credentials in parallel.
Step 2 — Controller Signal
The ARM industrial control core receives the result and sends an open signal via RS485, RS232, or IO relay. Wiegand 26/34 output connects to third-party platforms without custom integration.
Step 3 — Gate Movement
The brushless motor opens the gate in under 0.5 seconds. The passage holds open for the configured dwell time before resetting. Throughput reaches 50 persons per minute in sustained flow.
Step 4 — Safety & Reset
Resistance triggers reverse braking and three-stage torque compensation. Infrared sensors detect tailgating and trigger re-close. On power cut, the gate opens and the ARM core retains position — no recalibration on restart.
