At 9 am, hundreds of staff and dozens of visitors arrive within minutes, and a slow lobby turns into a queue where tailgating goes unnoticed.

The lobby keeps working. Each terminal stores up to 50,000 faces and matches them locally, so staff still pass during an outage. Entry records are saved on the device and sync to the central log once the connection returns.
Data protection duties, such as GDPR in the EU, sit with the building operator, not the hardware brand. EASCO terminals store face templates on the device rather than in a cloud service. Where a policy limits face data, the ES QV8 terminal can use contactless palm vein recognition instead.
